German Development Service (DED)
The German development service (DED) is one of the leading European human resources service providers. Right now over 1.200 trained people and development worker are operating in 47 countries (Africa, Asia and Latin America). The DED is not financed through founds but by the federal government. DMKZWO has developed a general event concept and advises the running realizations since 2004.
Concept & Design
"Close by" is the intermedia motto that expresses the self-concept and the meaning of "learning and helping". "Close by" describes also how close the DED is to the people and their problems in a foreign country and the respect they show to the people. Photage and text concept are realized for info and image poster for trade-fairs, large scales and city-lights, printed ads, post cards, etc.
Design for events & exhibitions
The main goal on events and trade-fairs is to make the operation of the development workers in the foreign countries lively and experiencable. Therefore more presentation components are used on events: the note-tree with personal notes and reports, Wooden cubes with subjects from different countries. Depending on the topic of an event, the touch screen terminal can be programmed with input concerning this special topic.
40 years of DED - concept and design
With a big official ceremonial act the DED celebrates 40 years of global achievements and partnerships in the Kunst- und Ausstellungshalle in Bonn. DMKZWO creates a smell-and-taste square for this event as well as a presentation of selected projects and a photo exhibition about the history of the DED.
